The Collection ‘Yesterday’

  • REMINISCENT OF YOU

A diffusion of lavender in the cardinal vaughans and quinacridone violet in the incarnations, which are sun-kissed with a touch of Daniel Smith’s Aussie Red Gold.

  • JEWELS OF THE MEADOW

Vibrant shades of violet and bright lilac in the magnolia blossoms and wild roses create a delicate and earthy piece that resonates with the tenderness and depth of the wild fields.

  • RENASCENT

Perylene scarlet and quinacridone rose sing in this painting of charming and delicate peonies.

  • SUBTLE GRACE

Rest in the stillness of these renaissance florals, calm, tender and meditative.

  • MYRIAD

Beauty and uncompromising strength grow from within. This is the story of the multitude, the myriad.

The Collection ‘Yesterday’

This collection is about life and more specifically about love, memories, loss , strength and finding hope. I often think about the great responsibility of carrying our late loved ones in us and with us as we walk this life. I have been constantly thinking of my mother, who has left quite unexpectedly leaving all of us shocked and in disarray.

These pieces have been my friends during this time. They have allowed me to play with my thoughts and release my emotions through colours without any judgment. Every minute, hour and day I spent on them, they were quietly there absorbing what I had to say, patient and helpless against the strokes of my brushes and the pull and push of the pigments.

The five pieces within this collection are:

REMINISCENCENT OF YOU

JEWELS OF THE MEADOW
